Well where should I begin?
This is my Tumblr where I simply write things that I cook, easy or not, (of course most of it will be different pasta sauces).
Remember, I’m telling you just the way how I cook things, I appreciatte all suggestions and anything you would want to teach me.
So antecipating a lot of different pasta things I will post “my” first “recipe” simple Rice with eggs and tiny potatos with lemon (Jamie Oliver recipe for those potatos, and I will add how I cook them later because I’m really tired and is exausthisgts87ygg to type it all in english)
Rice w/ eggs:
- Rice, polished white rice subgroup one, actually thats what is written in the package =).
- half onion
-2 tooths of garlic
- oil ( I usually use sunflower oil, people say it’s less worse for your health)
- a lot of different eatable herbs like rosemary, nirá whatever everything that u think that goes well with
Simply wash the rice, how much? It depends, but one cup will do for 2 people. Let it dry a little. When the rice dries finely chop the onion and the garlic.
Put the oil in a pot/pan in medium heat and add the onion.
DON’T wait till it’s golden brown to put the garlic. After both onion and garlic are fried add the rice till it’s almost sticking in the bottm of the pan. When that happens put the double of water in cups (for one cup of rice u put two of water)
Take care not to burn yourself, remember the pan is hot and with some oil in it.
After the water is boiling add some salt to taste and cover it. Go checking it when it’s drying in the process (now it’s a good time to add one or another herb specially, if its dehidrated). A good way to see if the rice is already cooked is to take some water in your hand and sprinkle it a little under the pan if it makes some noises like “oh my god Im hot” XD you should turn it off.
Now you should break the egg and mix it with the rice.
Just been to the fair, near my uncle’s place, without making any list of what I should have bought for the week . Buying the tree Papayas for 4 R$ just because they were cheap… dammit..Well gotta to eat a lot of papayas I will be back next month…
PS: and I had fun using tools, of that simple preview program that comes with Macintosh computers.
